You may know that there are other towns with the name
Lewisburg. There is a Lewisburg in
Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Tennessee.
But you may not know about Lewisburg, Ohio, whose name is a part
of our history. It is near Dayton,
has a population of 1,590 and was platted on September 7, 1818. Its founder, Henry Horn, named it after his
hometown of Lewisburg, West Virginia.
